Viewpoints: Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo and Conditioner with Eucalyptus

As a member of Viewpoints I was invited to receive a sample of the new Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Shampoo and Conditioner with Eucalyptus to test and review.  Here is Head & Shoulders comment on the product...

"Head & Shoulders has injected new life into their HydraZinc shampoo formula – this time with the addition of eucalyptus. Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo with Eucalpytus is an invigorating shampoo that will immediately sooth the scalp for all-day itch relief.

Washing with Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo with Eucalyptus gets rid of dandruff-causing buildup from styling products and other things you don’t want in your hair, but without stripping the natural oil that’s needed to moisturize your scalp."

Here's my review...

I received my sample of the Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo and conditioner. So I tried it and wanted to wait a day to see the lasting effects. When I used the shampoo there wasn't any tingling, though it did feel clean after. It lathers very well. It seemed that the most of the tingling appeared when I applied the conditioner! After the wash and condition my hair felt very clean and soft. The products do smell very good, with a clean fresh scent! The whole day the itchyness had subsided and my scalp had a cool feeling! However today the itching has started again. I don't dismiss the product simply becasue it could be that one use wasn't enough for an effective review. But I will purchase this product to see the long term effect!

Head and Shoulders has been around for quite awhile, but this is the first I've heard of the Eucalyptus variety. Maybe I'll give it a try, my daughter complains of itching regularly...maybe this will work.

Thanks for the review. I'm following from Mom Bloggers...so nice to meet you.
